As we continue to grow, we believe in adding clinicians from a variety of educational institutions and backgrounds. All of our clinicians use a team approach. The varied backgrounds of our staff are a great benefit for our patients. No matter what your condition is, we have a staff member who is well versed in the appropriate treatment for your condition.

Kevin D. Camden P.T., OCS

Kevin is a graduate of Saint Louis University of Physical Therapy, where he was voted to be the outstanding senior of allied health programs, and graduated with high honors. His internships included Barnes Hospital acute orthopedic center, Jefferson Barracks Veterans Center Spinal cord injury unit, and Deaconess Hospital orthopedic rehab center. Mr. Camden also participated in independent studies in Stroke rehab and injuries of the spine. Mr. Camden has gained a variety of experience working as a physical therapist.He worked one year at Quad City Regional Spine institute then took over at Davenport Medical Center as Director of Physical Therapy where he spent 4 years and opened their occupational therapy department.

He also assisted with the accreditation and opening of the Physical Therapist Assistant program, developed curriculum and taught at Blackhawk Community College. Mr. Camden then took a position as director of rehab at Rochelle Community Hospital where he developed occupational health programs and has consulted for Commonwealth Edison, Eaton Corporation, Hines Lumber and Total Logistic Controls.

In October of 1998, Mr. Camden saw a need for quality health care services in the Boone County area and opened Belvidere Physical Therapy and in May 2000 opened McHenry County Physical Therapy to fully serve Boone and McHenry County.


Christy Diddens, MS, ATC graduated from Clarke College (Dubuque, Iowa) in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training and a minor in biology. Upon graduation Christy moved to Pennsylvania where she received (2003) her Master of Science Degree in Athletic Training with an emphasis in education from California University of Pennsylvania (California, Pennsylvania). Christy’s thesis entitled “The Effects of Pilates and Stability Ball Training Programs on Functional Core Stability and Postural Control” has led her to an interest in core stabilization techniques. Christy is currently on her 2 nd year as the athletic trainer at Johnsburg High School. She is a native of Lena, Illinois and currently resides in McHenry. Christy enjoys the outdoors, all sporting events, and traveling.

Kim Girton, BS, ATC is employed at Ogle County Physical Therapy, in Byron IL. Kim attended college at Trinity International University and graduated with a degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. Kim brings collegiate working experience to her position as the athletic trainer at Byron High School. She is responsible for daily coverage, which is primarily evaluating injuries and preparing athletes for practices, as well as all home events during the school year. During the summer months she is actively involved in the running of the Ultimate Advantage sports enhancement camps at Byron and other local high schools. These camps are designed to increase strength, speed, and agility as well as general conditioning.


Jon Link, MPT, OCS, CSCS is the owner and director of Ogle County Physical Therapy located in Byron, IL. Jon graduated with his degree of Master of physical therapy from Southwest Baptist University in 1999.Jon is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioniing Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2002. Additional expertise includes being an Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization certified clinician for the treatment of tendonitis type conditions.

He has also started curriculum in manual therapy working towards his doctorate in physical therapy. At the clinic, Jon specializes in orthopedic and sports therapy, hand therapy, orthotics, and athletic performance enhancement. He has been a member of the Orthopedic and Sports Therapy Institute since 1999.

Josh Meyers P.T.

Josh is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. His internships included studies in acute care at Hoffman Estates St. Alexius Medical Center, and a more concentrated focus on orthopedics at Swedish American Hospital and Lundholm Physical Therapy.

Josh has 6 years of clinical experience in the orthopedic setting. He has worked closely

with patients and physicians to rehabilitate patients with sports injuries, industrial injuries, and other orthopedic surgical and non-surgical injuries.

Josh continues to develop his clinical knowledge and treatment skills through a variety of continuing education curriculum. Although manual therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques are his focus, he also participates in studies with practical applications of biomechanics and kinesiology for rehabilitation.

As a Clinical Instructor and Clinical Coordinator for Continuing Education, Josh has mentored students from various universities. Using clinical internships and lab settings, he is able to educate students and help them to develop professionally.

In 2005, Josh joins the Belvidere Physical Therapy team as clinic manager. He will oversee clinic operations and be responsible for staff and clinic development.

Paula M. McKenzie, P.T.

Paula is a graduate of Ohio University where she graduated with high honors with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1992. Her experience in physical therapy includes working as an intern in an acute care hospital, a rehab hospital, a regional rehab center, and an outpatient orthopedic facility.

.Paula has also had extensive experience in Physical Therapy since graduation working with sports injuries, industrial injuries, orthopedic post-surgical and non-surgical injuries, geriatrics and women’s health.

Paula has been specializing in treatment of Women’s Health issues for 8+ years with emphasis on treatment of pelvic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, pregnancy and post-partum lower back pain and dysfunction, and entrapment syndromes. Paula is trained in both internal and external muscle evaluation of the pelvic floor as well as in biofeedback.

Paula has been able to advance her knowledge through working in several types of facilities over her career. She has had the opportunity to work in a Work Hardening Facility, a Physician owned private practice, and in independent outpatient orthopedic facilities. She has also been active in the educational process for Physical Therapy students. As a Clinical Instructor many times over and the Clinical Coordinator for Clinical Education at four companies, Paula has been responsible for development and implementation for policies and procedures for education of students within the clinical setting.

In 2001, Paula sought out a position at Belvidere Physical Therapy in order to bring her experience in the treatment of Women’s Health to the Boone County area.

Lori Gulsrud-Neiber, P.T.

Lori is a graduate of the University if Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1992. Her initial experience came from working in a rural community thus giving her a wide variety from acute care hospital setting, nursing homes-geriatric setting, school systems, and home health. She then worked in a multidisciplinary setting with an alternative medicine approach.

Lori has twelve years of experience in outpatient orthopedics/post surgical, manual therapy, spinal rehab, industrial rehab, women’s health issues, and aquatic therapy.

Lori specializes in Women’s Health issues focusing on the treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy (pre through postnatal) and low back pain. She has been trained in internal and external assessment of pelvic floor musculature as well as biofeedback.

Lori has been able to advance her knowledge and skills in physical therapy by taking continuing education courses throughout her twelve years of being a PT. She is trained in John Barnes Myofascial Release Techniques. She has also been a clinical instructor for multiple students, enhancing their learning process.

Lori has been an employee of Belvidere Physical Therapy since March 2004.


Angela Pfeiffer, MPT is a physical therapist at Ogle County Physical Therapy, is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a degree of Master of Physical Therapy. Angela graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in of Health Science minoring in Biological Science. She has extensive knowledge in orthopedic physical therapy and sports medicine. In addition, she is an Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization certified clinician, specializing in treating tendonitis type conditions. Her vast experience includes vestibular rehabilitation, strain-counterstrain techniques, manual therapy, and spinal mobilizations.

Mike Ulmer PT, ATC - Mike has three years experience as a physical therapist. He is a graduate of Hanzehogeschool, Hogeschool, The Netherlands. Mike chose this school because his focus in education was on manual therapy and Hogeschool is known to be one of the top institutions for manual therapy and physical therapy. Prior to receiving his degree in physical therapy Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree majoring in athletic training from the Western Illinois University. Mike worked with Athletes from all sports at Western Illinois University and surrounding high schools. He has worked with orthopedic patients for the past three years and has specialized in treating conditions of the spine. Mike is also ASTM certified. He continues to take specialized courses in manual therapy.
